The cycle race open to anyone L’Etape du Tour 2019 will start in Albertville. This what announced on October 25th by ASO during the presentation of the 2019 Tour de France track. Destination will be Val Thorens.
Yesterday the route of the Tour de France 2019 was officially presented. At the same time, the tour stage which can be tackled by anyone in the event “L’Etape du Tour” was presented. Next year is the 20th and penultimate stage from Albertville to Val Thorens. The track is 135 kilometers long and has 4,563 vertical meters. According to the organizer, it is the highest finish line in the history of the tour. The finish line is at 2,365 meters altitude. L’Etape du Tour will take place on 21st July 2019.
The registration officially starts on Monday. The members of the L’Etape Community have four days pre-registering period which started yesterday. I used the opportunity and registered. Last year the event was sold out within four days.
