The Teasi ONE3 Extend GPS bike computer is the top model of Kapps GmbH, Chemnitz. It is a cheap GPS bike computer. The color touch screen has 3.5 inches.
The Teasi ONE3 Extend is not just a bike computer. It is advertised as a GPS device for cycling, hiking, skiing or paddling. The 4 GB memory is expandable via Micro-SD card up to 32 GB.
The case is IPX5 splash-proof. The display is about as big as the Garmin Edge 1030. The resolution is twice as large at 480 x 800 pixels. In tests, however, the readability of the display is criticized.
The Teasi software “Tahuna” for the PC reminds of Komoot.
Advantages of the Teasi ONE3 Extend
- Cheap
- big display
- not a pure bike computer
Disadvantages of the Teasi ONE3 Extend
- Crashes of the software
- Readability of the display
- Reacts slowly
My evaluation
The Teasi ONE3 Extend is a useful GPS bike computer. It has all the essential features that are required. With the good price-performance ratio everyone has to decide for himself whether he accepts the weaknesses.
